"AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE)
On January 11, 2006, "and Justice for all" presented its fifth annual continuing legal education seminar. The event was a great success, raising over $5,000 for civil legal aid programs in Utah.
This year's topic, Penumbra in Peril in the Supreme Court: Privacy, Property & People, explored the controversy surrounding judicial activism and interpretation of constitutional rights that fall in the “penumbra” or between the lines of the constitution and the future of the Supreme Court with the appointment of new justices.
Sponsored in partnership with the Utah State Bar, Government Law Section and the Salt Lake County Bar Association.
